We’re currently sitting at 1,026 active listings, with 115 homes sold last month. The average days on market is 51, and inventory has climbed to 8.9 months, which means buyers have more choice and less pressure compared to previous years.

Average prices by property type:

  • Detached: $895,649 (⬆️ 7.3%)
  • Townhomes: $575,875 (⬇️ 6.2%)
  • Condos: $516,187 (⬆️ 24.3%)

Overall, we’re seeing a more balanced market. Detached homes are holding strong, condos are gaining momentum, while townhomes have softened slightly. This creates great opportunities depending on whether you’re buying, selling, or just keeping an eye on the market.

The Chilliwack and surrounding areas market has remained active this winter, with lots of new listings coming onto the market throughout January. Buyers currently have a wide selection of homes to choose from, and inventory levels remain strong with 972 properties listed.

This is definitely a buyer’s market at the moment, meaning there are great opportunities to secure a home at competitive prices. Sellers, on the other hand, need to price their homes strategically for quicker sales.

Chilliwack and District has remained an active market even this Fall. Lots of new listings are still coming on the market so there is tons of inventory for buyers to choose from. Sellers need to price their homes keenly for quicker sales. It is definitely a buyers market at this time. There are currently 1,340 homes listed in Chilliwack and Surrounding areas. Buyers are putting in subjects and doing their due diligence. It is a great time to take advantage of the LOW prices!!
