Chilliwack and District has remained an active market even in the Spring Market. Prices are holding stable and increasing over the last few months when compared to last year. New listings are still coming on the market but not flooding the market, which keeps prices fairly stable. Sellers need to price their homes keenly for quicker sales. There are currently 1,181 homes listed in Chilliwack and Surrounding areas, which is higher than last month. Buyers are putting in subjects and doing their due diligence. However, we are seeing some multiple offer situations. NOW is the time to take advantage of the LOW prices!! As Bank of Canada does more rate cuts, the prices will start to go up again.
