Chilliwack and District has remained an active market even in these winter months. Prices are still on the stable side, slowly increasing over the last few months when compared to last year. New listings are still coming on the market but not flooding, which keeps prices fairly stable. Sellers need to price their homes keenly for quicker sales. There are currently 788 homes listed in Chilliwack and Surrounding areas, which is lower than last month. There will be more listings coming on the market as we approach the Spring Market. Buyers are putting in subjects and doing their due diligence. However, we are seeing some multiple offer situations. NOW is the time to take advantage of the LOW prices!! As Bank of Canada does more rate cuts, the prices will start to go up again.
