Chilliwack and District is still a relatively active market. Prices are still on the stable side edging into the balanced market area. New listings are still coming on the market but not flooding in which keeps prices fairly stable. Sellers need to price their homes keenly for quicker sales. There are currently 1,170 homes listed in Chilliwack and Surrounding areas, which is lower than last month. Chilliwack has seen an 1% increase in prices for detached homes when compared to last year at this time. Most buyers are putting in subjects and doing their due diligence. However, we are seeing some multiple offer situations. NOW is the time to take advantage of the LOW prices!! As Bank of Canada does more rate cuts, the prices will start to go up again.
