Inventory still remains steady in the summer market. The market in Chilliwack is doing well and prices have remained steady this past month. There are currently 1,212 homes listed in Chilliwack and Surrounding areas, which is higher than last month. Chilliwack has seen an 5.8% increase in prices for detached homes when compared to last year at this time. Overall, prices have gone up when compared to last year at this time. Most buyers are still putting in subjects and doing their due diligence. However, we are seeing some multiple offer situations. NOW is the time to take advantage of the LOW prices!! As Bank of Canada does more rate cuts, the prices will start to go up again.
