Inventory has been quite low for the beginning of the year. The market in Chilliwack is definitely starting to pick up and prices have actually gone up this past month. There are currently only 836 homes listed in Chilliwack and Surrounding areas, which is much lower than December. Chilliwack has seen an 5.1% increase in prices for detached homes when compared to last year at this time. Overall, prices have gone up when compared to last year at this time. Most buyers are still putting in subjects and doing their due diligence. BUT we are starting to see multiple offer situations again in Chilliwack.
