Inventory has again increased in the past month. The market in Chilliwack is still going strong despite the higher interest rates. There are currently 1,017 homes listed in Chilliwack in and Surrounding areas, slightly higher than last month. The average days on market are only 27 days, which has gone down again. Chilliwack has seen an 0.4% increase in prices for detached homes when compared to last year at this time. That number has actually gone up compared to last month. Which means prices have started to go back up again. We have seen a 10% price increase on average in Chilliwack in the last couple of months.
