Inventory has gone up in January. There are currently 887 homes listed in Chilliwack in and Surrounding areas. However, the inventory is slightly on the lower side. Homes are starting to get multiple offers in situations where they are priced really well. However most listings are still selling under asking price, so there are definitely deals to be made right now. The average days on market are 52 days. Chilliwack has seen an -21.5% decrease in prices for detached homes when compared to last year at this time. Buyers are still putting in subjects and doing their due diligence. If homes are priced well they are still selling quickly. More buyers are coming back into the market now, so it’s a great time to sell but it’s definitely an even better time to buy because it’s still a buyers market.
